The Green research unit is actively involved in creating e-learning training modules. This type of training requires minimal classroom attendance and allows organized exchanges with the students as their personal work progresses.

ComMod school: E-collective learning processes on companion modelling for natural resource management and the environment

 

Creating a regional network of skills on tools for collective management of natural resources and the environment in five Asian countries (Bhutan, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam) through training and the strengthening of partnerships via the dissemination of knowledge and concrete achievements using European methods in the field of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies). Funded by the European Union (from January 2005 to December 2007). Three specific target groups: regional universities and training institutes, the sector’s development agencies and village communities. Partners: Chulalongkorn University (Thailand), Bhutanese Ministry of Agriculture, Paris 6 University, Wageningen University (The Netherlands).
