Two multi-agent modelling platforms have been developed by the Green research unit : Cormas and Mimosa.

Cormas

A specialized modelling and multi-agent simulation platform for the management of renewable resources.

In recent years, different research communities have started using simulation platforms in the natural and social sciences. These platforms facilitate the design and implementation of multi-agent models, as well as the conduct and analysis of simulation experiments.

Specialized in the field of the management of renewable natural resources, the Cormas platform developed by the Green research unit is a tool for representing actor interactions concerning renewable natural resources. You can download the Cormas software and use it freely. You can also consult examples of applications and bibliography elements, as well as a description of the training courses  we offer. This site is part of networks  working on multi-agent systems, includes a user forum, the presentation of the researchers involved and links to other relevant sites.

Mimosa

An integrated modelling and multi-paradigm simulation platform.

The modelling uses a combination of ontologies (visualized using UML) and specific editors for different formalisms (equations, state/transition graphs, etc.). The simulation is based on discrete event systems (DEVS).
